Two more from the heavy years. I was not hiding it. I just did not know yet.
Why I do this
I was fat. I was sick. I had cancer.
I had been overweight since I was a teenager. Then came a cancer diagnosis. I chose a path that did not include chemotherapy, radiation, or traditional cancer drugs, and I rebuilt my body through food, sleep, movement, rest, and the right support. My health came back. So did my life.
What I learned on the way is the thing this whole practice rests on. Everything affects everything else. Sleep changes what you eat. What you eat changes your glucose. Your glucose changes your energy, your mood, your decisions, and whether your body will let go of weight at all.
I am not a doctor and I do not treat disease. Anything medical stays between you and your physician, and when something belongs in front of a doctor, I will say so and point you to one.
